About Me
Hi! I am Marinette Nerecina, also known as Heynette.I am a registered freelance Book Cover Designer, Illustrator, Layout Artist, Editor, and Author/Writer at the National Book Development Board - Philippines.I have been making cover designs since 2016 and started accepting commissions in 2019. My niche is cover designing and minimal illustrations, but I also offer manuscript formatting, editing, and proofreading services.So far, I have designed book covers for self-published books, locally published books by an indie publisher here in the Philippines, internationally published books, and Amazon KDP. I was also able to layout a four title manuscript from Anvil Publishing Inc.
Commission
Terms & Conditions
No rush commissions.
I have the right to decline commission projects.
The client needs to pay 50% downpayment or full payment upfront before starting the project.
Failure to settle the full payment after finishing the project will result to being blacklisted.
For all illustrated commissions, revision must be done on sketching process only. Additional charges may be applied for the revisions after coloring or after I finished the illustration.
For those who will avail services with a FREE BOOK COPY, if the free book was not sent within the time that was discussed, you will be blacklisted. To avoid this, pay the remaining balance, but we will follow the standard rate and discounts will no longer be applied.
For book publishing purposes, the designer and editor must be credited on the copyright page of the book at all times. Failure to do so will result to being blacklisted. You can also no longer use my design on your book.
Book design, illustrations, and interior illustrations of the book must be used in book printing only. Using it as a T-shirt, mug, tote bag, or other merch design will cost additional charges.
NO REFUND if the project was cancelled by the client, especially when the project has already started. If, however, the project has not yet started, only 50% of the transfered payment will be refunded. Full refund will ONLY be valid if the artist was the one who cancelled the project.

BASIC LAYOUT:
NOVEL - ₱800 for the first 30k words (and below) plus ₱200 for additional 3k words.
COMPILATION (Anthology or Poetry Books) - ₱700 for the first 8k words (and below) plus ₱150 for additional 3k words.DETAILED LAYOUT:

Additional charges may apply for the stock images used on the manuscript. Minimum of 10 stock images per manuscript are free of charge and additional of Php 250 per additional 5 stock images. This is because the stock images that the artist are using are not free. The artist are paying and buying subscriptions for the stock images.
